Severus appeared inside Voldemort's hideout. His clothes had already transfigured into the black hooded robe along with the dull white mask. More Death Eaters appeared out of nowhere and he followed them into the large ceremony room, where a gray stone throne sat opposite of the entrance. Severus had a bad feeling about Voldemort's reasons for bringing the Death Eaters here. The ceremony room was the only place where Voldemort held “special entertainment” for them.

A few months ago, Severus witnessed a couple being torture with the Cruciatus curse for three straight hours. A couple of weeks ago, Voldemort's servants tricked five Muggles into coming along with them. Voldemort tested deadly potions and spells on each of them. Each Muggle gave up on life quickly, before driven into insanity.

“Lucius Malfoy,” someone was introducing themselves to Severus, interrupting his thoughts of the horrendous events.

“Severus Snape,” Severus replied in a puzzle tone, “I don't mean to sound rude, but your voice sounds familiar.”

“Well, I should,” Lucius heartily chuckled, “I was there when you made your “first kill.”

Severus smiled politely and couldn't help remember Lucius' cold laughter when he killed the old witch. All of sudden, the room got pitch black and quiet as Voldemort strolled in with a magical spotlight on him and an evil smile reflecting through the light. One by one, each Death Eater kneeled and bowed as Voldemort walked by. Voldemort walked up the five cold steps to his throne and all of the Death Eaters rose to their feet.

“Welcome, my loyal servants.” Voldemort happily greeted. “Tonight, I have conjured up some delightful entertainment that everyone will most definitely enjoy.”

All of the Death Eaters applauded and whistled joyously. Severus didn't really join in the momentum. He could only think about another sleepless night he will have to endure. Another night of nightmares, of innocent lives taken so quickly for Voldemort's sick pleasure.

“I have special guests who would gladly help me with the festivities.” Voldemort couldn't stop smiling when he signaled three Death Eaters to bring in the victims.

The Death Eaters came back into the room, dragging three motionless bodies, like bags of trash. The victims had black cloth bags over their heads. By their ripped and dirty clothes, Severus could tell it was a woman and two men. The Death Eaters tossed the bodies in front of the stone steps.

Voldemort began to speak, “These people are like us, Purebloods, but they refuse to join our cause.” The Death Eaters cursed and yelled at the betrayal of their fellow Purebloods.

“In the last couple of hours we have tortured them-”

Yeah!

Beaten them!

Yeah!

Driven them to the brinks of INSANITY!!!

YEAH!!!

“Still, they refuse to join,” Voldemort said while the Death Eaters resumed their cursing and yelling.

“Remove the bags,” Voldemort ordered, “ and reveal the traitors.”

The Death Eaters swiftly removed the bags and Severus felt time go by slowly. The evil sheering faded from his mind, as he stared in shock at the family. His heart began to ache painfully and guilt flooded its way inside of him.

“Everyone meet the DeSpellmon family.” Voldemort stated happily.

Sebastian sat motionless beside his mother with his face covered in cuts and bruises. His clothes torn and bloody. Mrs. DeSpellmon sat against her son, giving him support while Mr. DeSpellmon laid in a fetal position on the cold cement floor. They were breathing hard and coughing from the dust left by the bags.

Voldemort walked down towards the family. “These blood traitors were celebrating a special occasion.” He kicked Sebastian in the ribs.

“Leave my son alone, you filthy monster!” Mrs. DeSpellmon screamed in anger.

“Silence,” Voldemort snapped her mouth shut with a charm. “It seems like our boy, Sebastian is the last Pureblood DeSpellmon. He was about to do something so disgusting to ruin the blood line.” Voldemort gave another signal. “Bring in our final guest for tonight.”

Two more Death Eaters were struggling with a brown haired woman. The woman's once white dress was ripped in half, revealing dirty white undergarments, soaked in blood. She had deep cuts all over her body and dark red lines streamed down her inner legs. It seemed like she lost a lot of blood, but she still had enough strength left to fight back. They threw her at Voldemort's feet, on all fours. She weakly stood up and stared angrily in Voldemort's red eyes.

“You are very brave to look at me in the eyes.” Voldemort raised her chin with his wand, daring not to get his fingers soiled. “If I knew any better, I say you were a witch. You put up quite a fight against my two strongest servants.”

The two Death Eaters chuckled evilly, licking the sweat from their upper lips. The woman spat blood directly in Voldemort's face and swore in Romanian.

You unclean Muggle bitch!” He waved his wand and sent her body slamming against the stone steps of his throne.

“Nadia!” Sebastian screamed out.

Nadia laid motionless with her back towards the group. All of the Death Eaters clapped and rejoiced. Severus was feeling sick and guilty. He couldn't do anything without getting himself killed.

The blood had disappeared from Voldemort's face. “Savages.

BASTARD!” Sebastian yelled. “You are not going to get away with this, Voldemort. People are going to find out and stop you dead   in your tracks.”

“No one will ever defeat me. Not even a measly little being would ever defeat me. I am the world's most powerful wizard that has ever lived.” Voldemort silenced Sebastian before he could utter another word. “His whining was giving me a headache. Now, back to the festivities. ”

“These blood traitors were celebrating an engagement between this prick-” Voldemort kicked Sebastian again, “with that scum.” He pointed his wand at Nadia.

The Death Eaters chanted gross and obscene comments towards the family. Severus stood there silently, not knowing what to do or say.

“How come you are not yelling?” Lucius asked.

“I am waiting for them to die,” Severus lied.

“Yeah, that's what those traitors deserve,” Lucius smirked underneath his mask.

“You are definitely a Death Eater.” A foreign voice spoke out on the other side of Severus. “You will always be a Death Eater no matter what.”

Severus stared at him through the mask. “Severus Snape,” he introduced himself.

“Igor Karkaroff.”

The cries of the Death Eaters were quieting down. The DeSpellmon family and Nadia were tied up together. Sebastian held Nadia's hand, tightly. They stared into each other's eyes and knew what their hearts were saying to each other.

“Oh, no,” Severus whispered to himself.

Avada Kedavra!!!” The five Death Eaters chanted in unsion. The room was filled with bright green lights, beaming from their wands. The family's screams echoed throughout the room and immediately stopped, completely. The bright green lights disappeared and a roar of joyous clapping filled the room.

Sebastian laid motionless, holding onto Nadia's cold dead hand.

“Let this be a warning to all the Purebloods here and around the world. If you don't join me, death will be the punishment!” Voldemort yelled over the crowd's cheering cries.

After the agonizing display of entertainment, Severus appeared back at Spinner's End. He rummaged through his liquor cabinet for some Firewhiskey. He grabbed two bottles and gulped them down, quickly.

“Now, he is killing off Purebloods,” Severus slammed the bottles against the wall and drank down more Firewhiskey along with Sleeping Draught. “Oh, Amelia, she'll be devastated when she hears about Sebastian's death.”

you're welcome :) and it's always a pleasure.
I like the way you played with Snape here - you made him a total stranger to Lucius, although they were in school together in canon (but, hey, that's fanon and that's why we like it!). Pity about Amelia's family, though :(

What are you now? A conspiracy theorist?
Yeah, I should have posted it up before the book came out, but all well. As long as people enjoy reading it, that's all that matters. :D In the next chapter, Amelia is going to be devastated and will get more suscipous (spelled wrong) of Snape.
